PZ PGH Learning and Thinking that Make a Difference (May 2026)

Andrea Sachdeva (she/her) is pursuing her PhD at University of Pittsburgh, studying play and playful learning in schools. This work builds on her previous work as a nonprofit administrator, OST educator, and Senior Project Manager at Project Zero. Throughout her career, Andrea has developed a background in arts learning and interdisciplinary design environments, assessment, maker-centered learning, play pedagogies, and equity-focused work. She is passionate about exploring abundance-focused approaches that connect research and practice to support children and educators alike. Andrea lives and works in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
